Ignite: A Sun-Powered Retreat in Southern Mexico

February 10-17, 2027

For sunshine, epic waves, and limitless vistas, join us for a seven-night yoga retreat just outside Puerto Escondido on Mexico’s Pacific coast in the state of Oaxaca. Your home for the week is a luxe beachfront villa complete with both panoramic sunrise and sunset views and an infinity pool from which you can spot breaching whales and playful dolphins. Fly in on a direct flight from Toronto and you’ll be sipping a welcome drink in little more than 30 minutes after exiting the airport.

Our sun-drenched days will revolve around sunrise and sunset practices. Your morning practice will include walking meditation on the beach, Sun Salutations and a yoga practice designed to stoke your inner fire. Late afternoons will feature posture workshops and feel-good therapeutic yoga practices. Seasoned surfers can check out the famed surf at Zicatela while surf newcomers can take lessons at Playa Carrizalillo’s beginner break. Swimmers and snorkelers can easily access nearby sheltered bays and calm harbours. While you will have no shortage of optional excurious—horseback riding, whale watching, baby turtle releases, and swimming with bioluminescent plankton, just to name a few—our private villa really is the perfect spot for working on your siesta skills and the fine art of relaxation.
