The Radiance Retreat at Bloom Holistic

Join Nicky for a laid-back, luxurious weekend yoga retreat at Bloom Holistic in Eastern Ontario. 

Centuries of yoga wisdom tell us to look outwards towards the healing rhythms and landscapes of nature, in order to foster deeper connections with our own inner ecosystems. In the days just after the Spring Equinox, this retreat will encourage participants to explore a selection of yoga and lifestyle practices that help us cultivate balance, ease and radiance. Sprinkled throughout our time together, Nicky will be sharing poetic teachings from her favourite yoga text, the Radiance Sutra.

Each morning includes meditation as the sun rises over the lake, breakfast, forest bathing and a generous yoga practice. You can expect Nicky’s all-level, flow-style yoga that weaves yoga teachings with sustainable practices for your body, today. In the afternoons, browse the well-curated library of yoga and spiritual classics, or journal beside the roaring fire. You can also enjoy more than 25 kilometres of beautiful forest, wetland and lakefront trails and commune with the diverse creatures that make this land home.  The woodfired communal sauna features a panoramic picture window to the lake just steps away, perfect for an adventurous lake dip in pristine nature.  Our evening program will prepare your body for deep rest with therapeutic yoga, ball massage and restorative yoga.

Our architecturally designed home built was built in 2021,  and is situated on 681 acres of UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve.  Accommodations are cozy and comfortable, with options to suit all budgets. All your meals are included and  will be a true highlight of your time at Bloom: vegetarian, farm-to-table and served family style in the dining room with a panoramic vista of the lake. 

Nicky will be available throughout the retreat for questions, and will venture to tailor practices to meet your individual needs.

Saturday 25 March

·      Morning meditation 7:00 am

·      Breakfast 8:00 am

·      Forest bathing 9:00 am

·      Dynamic Flow Yoga (including pranayama + satsang) 10:15 am – 12:15 pm

·      Lunch 12:30 pm

·      Free time, including time in the wood-fired sauna and lake dip

·      Dinner 6:30 pm

·      Evening Restorative practice 8:00 pm– 9:30 pm

Sunday 26 March

·      Morning meditation 7 am

·      Breakfast 8 am

·      Forest Bathing 9:00 am

·      Dynamic Flow Yoga 10:15 am – 12:15 pm

·      Lunch 12:30 pm and check out.
